It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leroy Lackey of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Lackey and Ina Mae Gibson Lackey; and his siblings, Harold, Andy, Russell, Billy Lackey and Margaret Lundy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Milstead Lackey; his children, Dale Lackey of Statesville and Jan Lackey of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Kristi Tucker (Josh) and Jared Sigmon of Dallas Texas; his great grandchildren, Gracyn and Elliot Tucker; and his siblings, Johnsie Moulton and Frank Lackey of Statesville.
The service will be open to the public but due to COVID-19 regulations the family request that mask be worn, and social distancing be practiced.
