He is survived by: his wife Bettie Sarah Rink Mims; his children, Larry Mims, Jr. (Glenda) and Ila Mims Starnes of Bethlehem; and his grandchildren, Michelle Starnes Bennett (Daris) of Bethlehem, Olivia Starnes Lee (Sawyer) of Georgia, Heather Anderson (Jeff) of Granite Falls and Jesse Everette Mims (Casie) of Fort Oaks, NC. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
