It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Faye Sweet of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Paul Deal and Nell Rimmer Deal; her husband Earl Sweet; and her brothers, James "Jimmy" Deal and Thomas Mack Deal.
She is survived by: her son Scott Ballard (Crystal) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Leah Howell (Colt), Kaitlyn Galliher (Logan) and Jacob Scott Ballard; her great grandchildren, Will Galliher, Brody Galliher, Cooper Howell and Barrett Howell; her nephew Tommy Deal; and her sister-in-law Rebecca Deal.
