It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Chapman of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom Vance Payne and Pearl Warren Payne; her siblings, Catherine Payne Senter, Peggy Joyce Payne, Roger Vance Payne and Christy Lindy Payne; her brothers-in-law, Shuford Deal and Bob Senter; her parents-in-law, Uriah C. Chapman and Ruby Chapman; and her siblings-in-law, Alma Moore, Ethel Auton, Ralph Chapman, Estelle Chapman, Ruby Freeman, Vivian Gentle, Wade Chapman, Frances Lail, Alan Chapman and Steven Warren.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Chapman and Curtis Chapman (Sheri); her grandson Cole; her sister Jackie Payne Deal; and her siblings-in-law, Patty Payne, Larry Doby Chapman (Tootsie), Nancy Faulk (Rick), Danny Chapman (Melinda), Ann Warren, Guy Chapman (Penny), Kathy Lail, Jerry Lail and Sherry Chapman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
