He is survived by: his wife Ruth Keever Reid; his daughters, Deborah Reid Roberts (Barry) of Hickory, Martha Reid Blakley (Tim) of Troy and Rebecca Reid (Todd Roberts) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Kip Roberts (Dawn) of Hickory, Cory Roberts (Lauren) of Conover, Elizabeth Roberts of Germany, Luke Roberts (Kathy), Katie Roberts of Hickory, Laurie Braymer (Jimmy) of Lemoore, Hannah Roberts of Catawba, Caleb Roberts (Heather) of San Diego, Ashlynn Wessollek (Jimmy) of Taylorsville, Mathew Reid of Hickory, Tanner Austin of Knoxville, Beth Blakely (Austin Crumpler) of Pittsboro and Sarah Leftwich (Cody) of Mt. Airy; and his siblings, Millie Brookshire of High Point, Sandra Pearson (Coy) of Taylorsville, Jacque Hollar (Jerry) of Conover, Vickie White of Stony Point, NC. and Bruce Dale Reid (Flaxen) of Taylorsville. He is also survived by Twelve great-grandchildren.
