He is survived by: his close friends, Ned Bowman, Floyd Newton, Leo Reese, Glenn Ritchie and Creolla "Tootsie" Jones; his children, Dennis Ritchie (Carolyn), Brenda Jones (Tom) and Donna Hollar; his grandchildren, Dinah Brown (Danny), Matthew Hollar, Andrew Hollar, Patrick Hollar (Mattie), Crystal Webb (Dale) and Marie Ritchie; his great grandchildren, Leyton Brown, Collin Brown and Parker Hollar; and his siblings, Naomi Newton, Ethel Richey and David Richey.
