He is survived by: his wife Melba Jarvis; his children, Johnny Jarvis, Jr. (Debbie) of Waxachachie, TX, Ron Jarvis (Jenny) of Huntersville, NC, John McDonald of Roanoke, VA, Richard McDonald (April) of Hickory, NC and Sarah Hobbs (Ken Hobbs) of Johnstown, CO; his grandchildren, Amy Hobbs, Brianne Jarvis, Lacee Jarvis, Jacob McDonald, Austin McDonald, Michael Hobbs, Brennon McDonald, Walker Jarvis, Johns Douglas McDonald, Bailee Chism, Chloe Chism and Faith Jarvis; and his great grandchild Hailey Jarvis.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
