He was predeceased by: his parents, Booker T. Jones Sr. and Iana Ferguson Jones; his siblings, Louise Salley and David Jones; his granddaughter Jamica Jones; and his stepchildren, Tommy Teague and Terisa Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Creola Teague Jones; his children, Ava Setzer of Greensboro, Anitra Jones of Statesville and Jae Jones of Clemmons; his stepchildren, Marvin Smith (Ingrid), Melissa Lackey (Gary), Bradley Smith and James Douglas Teague (Marilyn); and his siblings, Ann Ferguson of Mocksville, Nancy Ferguson of Brooklyn, N. Y., Marilyn Patterson of Lenoir, Mamie Dooley of Lenoir and Booker T. Jones Jr. of Taylorsville. He is also survived by eight grand-children; four great grand-children.
