She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Dellinger and Ora Beaver Dellinger; her husband Thomas "Tom" Sherrill, Sr.; and her sisters, Betty and Jettie.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Shook (Tim) of Taylorsville and Thomas Sherrill, Jr. of Taylorsville; her siblings, Linda Dishmon of Statesville, Lewis of Statesville, Bill of Statesville and Monte Dellinger of Statesville; her grandchildren, Wesley Shook, Ryan Shook and Katy Sherrill; her great grandchild Kylar Austin; and her friend Ellie.
