He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Wellman and Lucille Jones James (Wellman); his wife Mary Lou Wellman (Miller); and his sons, John Howard, Thomas Roland, Glenn Louis and Zach Wellman. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
