It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Preston Lowman Jr. of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lowman Sr. and Rosie Drum Lowman; and his sister Lola Lowman Morgan. He is survived by: his children, Jake Lowman (Sara Beth) of Taylorsville, Mike Lowman of Lenoir, Curt Lowman (Crystal) of Lenoir, Annette Setzer (Heidi Hagans) of Kings Mountain and Kim Lowman of Lenoir; and his brother Dennis Lowman (Pam) of Hickory. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
