He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bill Bruce and Luna Gooden Bruce of Alexander County; his wife Greta Miller Bruce; his daughters, Lillie Ann Bruce and Corrie Bruce Ward; his son-in-law Kevin Ward; his daughter Heather Misenheimer; his son-in-law Danny; and his grandson Connor Wayne Misenheimer. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.
