He was predeceased by: his parents, Clegg Jackson Privette, Sr. and Mary Josephine Smith Taylor; and his brothers, Clegg Jackson Privette, Jr. and Kenneth Eugene Privette. He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth Keever Privette; his children, Tina Privette Hilton (James) of Taylorsville, Jerry Wayne Privette, Jr. (Kim), Chadwick Jackson Privette of Gastonia and Steven Dixon (Amy); his grandchildren, Kasey, Jordan Privette, Daniel Turner, Kendra Hilton Featherstone, Jayden, Riley, Sky, Steven Jr. and Liana Dixon; his great grandchildren, Ava, Jaxon Turner, Emma and Kayden Featherstone; his sister Juanita Ward; and his uncle Marvin Smith.
