It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Bell of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Marcus Bell and Pearly Mae McGinnis Bell; and his siblings, Bob, Kenneth, Butch Bell and Trudy Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Miller Bell; his children, Button Levan (David) of Hiddenite, Jimmy "Deano" Bell (Rita) and Richard; his siblings, Johnny Bell (Claudine) of Statesville, Smokey Bell (Joyce) of Taylorsville and Judy Childers of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Deanna Watts (Chad), Sarah Levan, Lucas Levan (Mindy) and Heather Bell Ingram (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Chanler, Triston, Dalton Watts, MaLeia, Zandon McCurdy, Kaven, Casen Levan and Chase Ingram.
