It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Nance (Taylorsville, North Carolina), born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Nance and Litha Marlow Nance; his wife Thelma Nance; his daughter Gail Hammer; his stepchildren, Cathy Fox and Larry Fox; and his siblings, Norman Nance, Issac Baker, Ora Johnson, Nora Anthony, Vivian C. Irvin and Lora Moore.
He is survived by: his siblings, Cora Resare of Redmond, Garlene Shawver of Taylorsville, Sadie Porter of Taylorsville, Vernon Bill Nance (Jerldine) of Taylorsville, James Nance (Nancy) of Taylorsville and Jerry Nance (Judy) of Taylorsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
