It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Margarita Pico of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Gazaui and Zoila Gazaui; her husband Regulo Pico; and her siblings, Yolanda Mariño, Lucia Gazaui and Juan Gazaui.
She is survived by: her children, Javier Pico (Auri Acosta) of Taylorsville, Miriam Whiters of Taylorsville, Irene Fernandez (Jose Fernandez) of Conover and Araira Propst (Jim) of Maiden; and her grandchildren, Aaron Roffka, Daniela Brown (Dylan), Erica Propst, Elena Propst, Sarah Pico (Ramon Marcano) and Mariam Trisler (Lance).
