She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bennett and Julie Bennett; her husband Edward Lee Peterson; her children, Donna Minor and Eddie Peterson; her grandchild Shannon Peterson; and her sisters, Martha Bennett and Lena Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Jessie Lackey, Elbert Peterson, Randall Peterson and Debbie Green; her grandchildren, Whitney, Brittany, Misty, Summer, Chelsea, Dustin, Bradley and Andy; and her siblings, R. L. Bennett, Rotha Bennett and Darlene Bennett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (307 Main Ave Dr, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel (307 Main Ave Dr, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
