It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marie Cobb of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hofbauer and Elizabeth Hofbauer; her former husband Alfred E. Cobb; and her siblings, Bill Hofbauer and Mary Carr Conner.
She is survived by: her husband Ace Hardware; her daughters, Elizabeth Cullis (Christopher) of Bryan and Susan McGowen (Randy) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Christopher Cullis II, Kimberly Cullis Imm (Mike), Jamie McGowen (April), Joseph McGowen (Ashley) and Erin Peters; and her sister Margaret Hofbauer. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Tampa, Florida, the American Heart Association or the donor's choice.
