He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bentley and Rose Ann Bentley; his wife Joy M. Bentley; his parents-in-law, Buster and Hazel T. Moretz; his sister-in-law Peggy M. Kirby; and his pet Janie.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Emma Joy; his children, Melinda B. Null (Richard) and Thaddeus C. Bentley (Brad Balentine); his granddaughters, Chrisi Williams (Jeff), Anna Drum (Terry) and Emma Joy Bentley Balentine; his great grandchildren, Nola Williams and Barrett Drum; his siblings, Howard Bentley (Ann), Carolyn Ritchie (Dan), Harvey Bentley (Wanda), Peggy Johnson (Larry) and Karen; his brothers-in-law, Gary Walker and Robin Moretz; and his brother Randy Stafford (Penny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews including great and great-great nieces and nephews; Life-long best friend.
