He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Hammer and Elizabeth Burke Hammer; his son Harold Joel Hammer; his wife Martha Childers; his sons, Jesse Hammer and Rusty "Jarrod" Hammer (Angel); his siblings, Debbie Hammer and Tommy Hammer (Margaret); his grandchildren, Allison, Katie, Josie and Colton Hammer; and his close friend Stephen Childers. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
