He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Stegall and Lillie Littleton Stegall; and his siblings, Martha Harrington and Don Stegall. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Stegall; his daughters, Jenny Thompson (Bradley) and Jessica Mounce (Slade); his grandchildren, Alex Freeman (Ashlee), Elijah Thompson, Aidan Stegall and Lily Mounce; his great grandchildren, Addison Freeman, Aaron Freeman, Addison Thompson and Elijah Thompson Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Mark Stegall (Julie), Andy Stegall, Donna Kim Craft (Grover), Glenda Kirkley and Debbie Stewart; and his cousin Marian Shore.
