He is survived by: his wife Shelia Witcher Bowman; his daughter Sherry Green; his granddaughter Hayley Green of Taylorsville; his sisters, Betty Echerd of Greensboro and Gaynell Messick of North Wilkesboro; and his sister-in-law Linda Hines of Taylorsville.
