He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul D. Bowman, Sr. and Alma Jolly Bowman; and his brother Paul Bowman, Jr. (Dan). He is survived by: his great-nephew Jacob Ballard; his son Rodney Alton Bowman of Taylorsville; his sister Wanda Starnes of Taylorsville; his nieces and nephews, Crystal Ballard (Scott) of Taylorsville, Shay Starnes (Jessy Barriger) of Taylorsville, Janet Hildebran (Phil), Jeffrey Bowman (Vickie) of Taylorsville and Randy Bowman (Michelle) of Taylorsville; and also, William and Brody Galliher.
