He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Vivian Edith Chapman Gentle; and his son Derek Lee Gentle. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ruth Harrington Gentle; his son Kevin Gentle (Dana); his brother Mike Gentle (Nancy); his granddaughters, Alexandra and Kayla Gentle; and his close friends, Brent, Sharon Presnell, Max and Helen Grant.
