He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Fox and Pearl Pennell Fox; and his siblings, Hazel Keller, Ella Mae Stephens, Wilford Fox, Floyd Fox, George Fox, Claude Fox, Jack Fox, Odell Fox, Rosa Cantrell of Zephyrhills, FL and Nettie Cline (Walter) of Cleveland, NC.

He is survived by: his close friend Betty Pruitt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
