He was predeceased by: his parents, Bethal Frank Watson and Helen Messick Watson; and his stepdaughter Tonya Allen. He is survived by: his wife Helen Harmon Watson; his children, Melissa Poole (Geoff) of Easley, SC and Marty Watson (Tonya) of Greenville, SC; his stepson Dale Allen (Sonya) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Wesley (Mollie Poole), Adam (Ashlynn Watson), Steven Hale, CJ Allen, Kandace and Kallie (Kaine Allen); his great grandchildren, Evy Watson and Zayden Allen; his siblings, Nancy Garris, Carol Byrd, Louise Cockerham, Peggy Campbell, Don, Tim and Bill Watson; and also Shane Watson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
