She is survived by: her children, Douglas Vernon II of Beaufort, SC and Malinda Falls (Jerry) of Hickory; her siblings, Norman Oakley (Gwen) of Mooresville and Brenda Hall (Clyde) of Walnut Cove, NC; her grandchildren, Ashlee Falls and Andrew Vernon Numerous; and also Per.
