With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emilie Louise Hefner (Taylorsville, North Carolina), who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bingham Jones Reid and Bertie Faye Beach Reid; her husband S. E. Hefner Jr.; her son Michael Edward Hefner; and her siblings, David B. Reid, Jimmy Reid and Elizabeth "Tootsie" Teague.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Hefner Keller (Scott), Jeffrey Allen Hefner (Vickie), Douglas Reid Hefner (Patsy Chambers) and Amanda Yvonne Hefner; her sister Rebecca "Becky" Reid (Rick); her grandchildren, Michael "Andy" Keller (Becky), Patrick Keller (Alex), Ethan Hefner (Lauryn), Seth Hefner (Lauren), Erin Davis (Adam), Addison Dicks, Conner Dicks and Weston Dicks; and her great grandchildren, Owen Keller, Elisabeth Keller, Harrison Keller, Hannah Keller, Skyler Davis, Emma Jayne Hefner, Sloane Hefner, Grayson Hefner and Harper Mae Hefner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
