She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Y. Deal and Mattie Lowe Deal. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Shew of Taylorsville, Dennis W. Lackey (Donna) of Taylorsville, Kevin B. Lackey of Jacksonville, FL and Dean Lackey of Claremont, NC; her grandchildren, Denise Shew of Taylorsville, Kristin Bost of The Woodlands, TX, Amanda Carpenter (Chad) of Sparta, NC and Dustin Lackey (Debra) of Taylorsville; her son-in-law Bobby Shew of Taylorsville; and her sisters, Marie Childers of Taylorsville and Vivian Davis (Larry) of Taylorsville. She is also survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.
