It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Worley of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Worley and Mable Price Worley; his wife Linda Stafford Worley; his grandson Jessie Gibson; his great grandchild Quinton Turpin; and his sisters, Mary Francis Worley, Alice Faye Worley, Bettyrae Hefner and Elsiemae Poole.
He is survived by: his children, Libby Worley of Hickory, Belinda Wilson of Taylorsville, Sharon Gibson (George) of Hickory, Kim Privette (Jerry) of Taylorsville, Maryann Rose (Micheal) of Conover, Kenneth Wilson (Ginger) of Taylorsville and Kenny Worley of Spruce Pine; and his siblings, Dolly Storey (Jimmy) of Newberry, SC, Chuck Worley of Shelby, John Worley (Mick) of Hickory, Doc Worley of Hickory and Marshall Worley of Hickory. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
