He is survived by: his children, Sherri Ireland (Toby), Chris Alexander Childers (Catherine) and Atwell Eugene Childers (Glenda Miller); his grandchildren, Justin Childers, Ty Ireland, Kylie Childers, Jacob Childers and Taylor Childers; and his sister Florinda Johnson.
