She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph John Waldeck and Ernestine Esther Lowry Waldeck; her husband Dr. Clarence E. Warta; and her brother Herbert Waldeck. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie W. Wilson (Richard) of Hickory, Melanie Stroud (John) of Statesville and Keith J. Warta (Heidi) of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Aaron Stroud (Kayla) and Amanda Marshall (Chris); her great grandchildren, Corrie Marshall and Ethan Stroud; her stepgrandchildren, Chastity Rumburg Finley and Kati Rumburg; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ty Finley, Layne Finley and Macie Prestipino.
