It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Watts of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Franklin Rector and Annie Mae Sherrill Rector; her husband Glenn Albert Watts; and her brother Hayden Rector. She is survived by: her children, Anne Watts Grassler of Ruckersville, VA and Franklin Glenn Watts (Karla) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Sarah Munsey and Ryan Richardson; her great grandchild Brayleigh Richardson; her brother Larry Rector (Linda) of Taylorsville; her cousin John Watts (Susan); her friend Kay Barron; and also, Mattie and Stewart. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
