It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Pempkowski of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Moore and Ruth Woerner; her husband Stanley Pempkowski; and her daughter Carol Hunt. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Murray of Taylorsville, Donna Finn (Bill) of Daytona, FL and Rose Gable (Frank). She is also survived by six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
