Doras Elmore Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doras Elmore of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorris Effrim Elmore and Lois Hurley Elmore; his wife Dimple; his siblings, Amy, Mary, Jane, Grace and Jack; and his grandsons, Craig Bruce, Jr. and Joseph Michael Duckett.

He is survived by: his children, Pam Hamlin (George) of Taylorsville, Sheila Elmore, Edwin Elmore (Jeannie) of Granite Falls, Bradley Elmore (Crystal) of Granite Falls and Beth Crissman (Lee) of Maiden. He is also survived by 42 grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
