She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman McDaniel and Edna Reynolds Shores; and her son Chad McNeely. She is survived by: her husband Steve A. McNeely; and her siblings, Michael McDaniel of Laurinburg, NC and Judy McDaniel of Hamlet, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
