It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah McAlpin Pennell of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Dorce and Pauline Robertson McAlpin; her husband Jimmy Pennell; her siblings, Bobby McAlpin and Kimmie McAlpin; her nephew Tony Florence; and her great-nephew Jude McAlpin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Danielle Pennell Simmons (Chris), Kimberly Teala Pennell and Stacey Pennell Fagan (Levi); her siblings, Paula Matheson, Elaine Smith (Jimmy) and Mike Florence (Karen); her grandchildren, Tristen Pennell, Dakota Deal, Caden Simmons, Eamon McGuire, Arden McGuire and Hudson Fagan; her nieces, Angie and Jessie McAlpin; and her nephew Bobby Joe McAlpin. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and special friends.
