He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCarson Drum; his children, Joshua Drum (Amanda) of Statesville, Amanda Stewart (Kevin) of Catawba, Tina Knopp (Jerry) of Yulee, FL and Michelle Sweet (Bobby) of Vale; his brother Charles Drum, Jr. (Rosie) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Tyler Knopp, Dylan Sweet, Derick Sweet, Peyton Reavis, Ezra Toney, Keira Toney, Ruby Toney and Eleanor Mangus; and his great grandchildren, Rory Knopp, Jude Knopp, Hunter Sweet, Easton Sweet, Aiden Sweet, Chandler Sweet, Caroline Sweet and Ansyn Sweet.
