He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Annas Hignight; his children, Tiffany Murray-Hignight (Alastair Murray) of Windsor, England and Daniel James II (Anissa Pennell); and his siblings, Vickie Divencinzo of Chicago, Carl Gunning (Gordon) of Washington and Jake Hignight of Durham, NC.. He is also survived by his family and friends locally and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, for cancer research, per Dan's wishes.
