She is survived by: her parents, Inez Elkins and Larry Elkins; her daughters, Brooke Gatton, Hope Johnson (Brandon) and Courtney Bruce (Chris); her grandchildren, Jaxson Gatton, Maddilyn Gatton, Hendrix Bruce and Charlie Johnson; her brothers, Eddie Elkins (Mary) and Stephen Elkins (Marie); and her boyfriend Frank VanOver. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Service (193 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
