It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constance (Connie) Marie Elder Bryant of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Curtis Elder and Blanche Burgess Elder; her husband Randy; her sons, Van Clayton Bryant of Hickory and Travis Christian Bryant of Hickory; her brothers, David Elder of Hickory and Richard Elder of Taylorsville; her sisters-in-law, Cindy Elder (David) and Joy Elder (Richard); and her siblings, Buford Curtis Elder (Frances Emo), Mary Sue Elder Stewart (Billy Ray), Rachel Fay Elder Simmons (Bob), John Carson Elder (Mable), Lena Florence Elder Ellis (Luther Ray), Jack Festus Elder (Annette), Thomas Lynn Elder (Ellen), Betty Alice Elder Buck (George), Anne Gaye Elder Swaim (Mickey) and Jayne Elizabeth Elder Goble (Elbert). She was also cherished by nieces and nephews that are the children of her 12 siblings.
