We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2021, at the age of 75, Conley Burgess of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pervie Otis Burgess and Jennie Mozelle Harrington Burgess; and his siblings, Gertie Treadway, Mary Ellen Lackey, Athie Goble, Lewis Burgess and Alton Burgess (Penny).

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Reid Burgess; his children, Candy Chapman (William) of Taylorsville and Chris Burgess (Melissa) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Candra Angle (Phillip), Brett Chapman (Taylor), Alyssa and Bria Burgess; his sisters, Thelma Deal (Lindsay), Laura Eaton (Tom) and Ruth Icenhour (Jerry); and his brothers-in-law, Howard Treadway and John Lackey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
