She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde William Goforth and Betty Lowe Goforth; her husband Hayden Alvin Rector; and her son Darren Alvin Rector. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Rector Anderson (Robby) of Taylorsville and Rodney Franklin Rector (Cathy Sharpe Rector) of Taylorsville; her grandsons, Levi Justin Rector and Baydin Riley Anderson; her sister Sue Goforth Owings (Eugene) of North Wilkesboro; and her cousin Trudy Wike (Wendell).
