He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann McAlpin; his stepchildren, Richard Smith, Joy Billings (Allen), Susan Starnes, Angela Johnson and Darlene Jonas (Mitchell); his brother James McAlpin (Martha); his grandchildren, Tiphanie Billings, Ashley Pope, Chase Johnson, Candace Johnson, Christopher Starnes, Christian Jonas, Isaac Jonas, Elisha Jonas and Stacey Pope; and his great grandchildren, Mikayla Nall, Skyler Billings and Adeline Johnson.
