It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Ellen Young Duty of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Young and Wealtha Stiltner Young; her husband Tony Rondal Duty; and her brother Clarence Young. She is survived by: her daughter Linzee Kerns (Josh) of Marion, VA; her siblings, Marie Mullins of Harman, VA, Larry Dean Young (Mary) of Vansant, VA and Steve Young (Rita) of Grundy, VA.; her niece Renee Young Church; and her pets, Zoey and Lily.
