Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Catharine Boyd Ingram Herring of Taylorsville, North Carolina, born in Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 94, on April 13, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Ray Ingram and Laura Jane Mullen Ingram; her husband Charlie J. Herring, Sr.; her stepsons, C. J. Herring, Jr., Leroy Herring and Jimmy Herring; her grandson Russell Ray Herring; and her sisters, Virginia I. Teague, Alice I. Coulter and Isabel I. Payne.
She is survived by: her stepson Warren Dortch Herring, Sr. (Linda) of Gibsonville, NC; and her sister Laura I. Sewell of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren; and over 30 nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces.
