He was predeceased by: his parents, Clete J. Earp and Jennie L. Earp; and his siblings, C. J., Jr., James, Alma Milstead, Amelia Hollifield, Doris Wike Jenkins, Margie Deal, Lillian Queen and Pauline Murdock.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Wallace Earp; his children, Rickie E. Earp (Silvia) of Southport and Wendy E. Moretz (Latt) of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Casey Earp (Bobbi) of Statesville, Courtney Scheibla (Collins) of Huntersville, Brandon Moretz (Ashley) of Bethlehem and Mason Earp of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his brother Dean Earp (Mary) of Taylorsville; and his great grandchildren, Jensen, Hudson Scheibla, Brooklyn, Jaxon Moretz and Scarlett Earp. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
