He was predeceased by: his parents, Dell Miller and Stella Scarbro Oestrich; and his brother Delmer Miller. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Marie Dickens Miller; his children, Sabrina Hamlet (James) of Connolly Springs, Jennifer Miller Gilbert, Michael Keith Miller (Dena) of Taylorsville and Rick Dean Miller (Ann) of California; and his brothers, Dallas Miller of Chicago and Tracy Miller of Tennessee.
