She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edmond and Annie "Estelle" Haithcox Smith; her husband Buck Carrigan; her children, Benny Carrigan and Patty Carrigan; and her siblings, William Ed Smith, John Larry Smith and Mary Helen Sweet.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Millsaps (Robert); her grandchildren, Jamie Starnes (Casey) and Matthew Millsaps (Samantha); and her siblings, Roy Lynn Smith (Paulette) of Hiddenite and Kay Canter (Gene) of Canton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
