He is survived by: his wife Margie Sherrod; his son Stan Pittman of Raleigh; his stepchildren, Kenneth Pittman, Sr. of Raleigh, NC, Lesia Pittman of Rocky Mount, NC, Laforest Pittman McNeil of Rocky Mount, NC, Yolanda Pittman Grant of Princeville, NC and Pamela Dunn Brown of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, James Sherrod of Washington, DC, Calvin Sherrod of Princeville, NC, Leroy Sherrod of Princeville, NC and Mamie Lee Sherrod of Tarboro, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.
